Christmas In Minier

From Carolyn Hansen, Kiwanis Club President:

The theme of the 2021 Minier Christmas Parade is “Minier Memories”. Many generations of Minier citizens and their extended families have been part of and watched the annual celebration. Originally, an event sponsored to showcase Minier businesses, it now celebrates not only businesses, but the many organizations and group that make Minier a great place to live. Plan now to expand your family’s memories to include the Minier Christmas Parade at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 27.

We always need floats and as we have in the past,  $25 seed money will go to all the floats, decorated trucks  and walking units registered in advance of the day of the parade. Please find the entry form below, fill it out and email it to First prize is $100, second prize is $75 and third prize is $50.

Santa will be in the parade and then meet with children immediately following it at the gazebo in Veteran’s Park. So children, have your Christmas list handy to tell Santa what you want for Cristmas.

The Minier Christmas Parade is one of the oldest, continuing parades in the state. We hope you will bring your family and join in the fun!

The parade is one of the community service projects sponsored by the Olympia Kiwanis Club. For more information about the parade and the Kiwanis club, please contact Carolyn at or call her at 309-261-1705.
